Hydrogen has a key role to play in reliable, low carbon energy availability. ERM is currently supporting the implementation of various world first projects globally.

Our work is focused on supporting projects to assess the feasibility of using hydrogen in gas distribution networks, as an energy vector, as a means to fuel transportation, and generating green hydrogen at scale.

Our project support includes the assessment of technology options and costs, safety, risk and environmental impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, data management and gaining HSE consent.

Our involvement spans production, storage, transport and end-use including hydrogen production facilities with CCS, power to gas, electrolyser/fuel cell applications, gas networks evaluation, hydrogen trains, energy storage, pipelines, and bulk scale hydrogen generation from renewables. We work with our Clients to select the optimum technical and economic solutions and ensure effective delivery of regulatory HSE requirements and a social license to operate.
